      <image:caption>Sarah Toy is a Chinese Canadian-American writer based in New York. She is working on a short-story collection and novel, and her work is forthcoming in Narrative Magazine. She was previously a staff writer in The Wall Street Journal’s health and medicine bureau, where she covered maternal and child health, chronic illness, mental health, and infectious diseases. Before that, she was energy reporter for the Journal’s markets team. Her reporting has also been featured in Barron’s, MarketWatch, and USA Today. Sarah has a graduate degree in journalism from Boston University and a bachelor's degree from Union College, where she studied biology and music.
